You wouldn’t say that Riu Palace Riviera is a budget-friendly resort when looking at its presentation photos. There’s a wide pool just outside the rest and quick access to the sea. While you’re not in tropical islands, this place doesn’t look like traditional Mexico either.

If you simply want to enjoy the sun, you can exit the resort right onto a white beach. Inside the resort, there’s delicious food, a spa, and even a gym. But most tourists end up staying in hammocks set up on the high palm trees outside.

9. Soneta Maho Beach Resort & Casino in St. Marten

Overlooking the Caribbean, this resort is perfect for couples. Everything is included here and this doesn’t overlook activities for couples. You can take a massage with your partner without paying more. You can also join aerobics classes without having to pay more either.

There’s a large pool you can visit and 4 bars you can try out with included drinks. But drinks are also free in your room’s minibar. In the evening, you can visit the on-site casino for some betting relaxation.

8. ClubHotel Riu Negril in Jamaica

This place is perfect for couples who love water sports. Kayaking and diving are included here and since the resort is right on the beach, you’ll lose no time walking from your accommodation out to the seashore.

All types of international foods and drinks are included here. You even get a minibar that gets restocked frequently in your room. For a taste of the best foods, you can visit the authentic Jamaican barbeque beach bar for a different experience to what you can see in other places around the world.

7. Cocobay in Antigua

If you love Southern Antigua, you need to check out Cocobay. This place is rather unique as the resort is based on little huts overlooking the beach, situated on hills. You even get your veranda which you can enjoy during your romantic evenings with your partner.

Private pools may also be available for selected huts. However, there are a few water sports you can try here as well. At the end of the day, you can’t sit around in the sun every day as you need to get moving after visiting the 2 on-site restaurants.

6. St. James Club Morgan Bay in St. Lucia

If you value spas and restaurants alike, there’s no place better than St. James Club Morgan. Many tourists don’t keep on going to 1-restaurant resorts. This is why St. James Club offers 6 restaurants where you can sample food from around the world.

Pampering sessions for you and your partner aren’t far either. There are all types of cleansing sessions you can book. Salt scrubs are popular here. You need to try them out if you want your skin to feel soft and rejuvenated.

5. Renaissance Aruba Resort in Aruba

This unique resort has a private island. You can visit this small offshore island during the day when resort staff takes you on a boat to enjoy a few hours in a hammock on your private island retreat.

When back at the resort, you can taste excellent international food and one of the 6 on-site restaurants. If you want to burn some calories after eating too much, you can head to the on-site gym. There are even two 24/7 casinos you can visit if you don’t feel like going to bed too early.

If you’re in Europe, you can stay at the resort next to Cadiz, right on a small beach strip. It offers a well-deserved glimpse into delicious Andalusian cuisine with its top-rated restaurants. You can even enjoy a refreshing drink outside next to the large swimming pool.
